Come, take my hand... ¤¤¤ NIMM MEINE HAND...

... and I will lead you through the garden of "Granborg Gaard Bed&Breakfast" in Denmark.

... UND ICH WERDE DIR UNSERE FARM ZEIGEN.

But first click on this video, so we have some beautiful music to listen to, as we stroll along...

DOCH ZUERST CLICKE DIESEN LINK AN, DAMIT WIR ETWAS MUSIK HABEN...

This is then back garden, out to the fields.

DIES IST DER NÖRLICHSTE GARTEN UNSERER FERIENPENSION.

At the end of the fruit garden you can enjoy a view towards the bridge crossing over to Zealand and Møn.

VOM OBSTGARTEN AUS KANN MAN DIE BRÜCKE NACH MØN UND SEELAND SEHEN.

This last winter was one of the most beautiful winters we have had.

WIR LIEGEN 1 STD. SÜDLICH VON KOPENHAGEN.

Walking along the pond...

DIES IST DER TEICH...

The south-east-exit of the main house.

UND HIER HABEN WIR DEN ÖSTLICHEN EINGANG DES HAUPTHAUSES.

This is farming country, we are surrounded by other farms...

ANDERE HÖFE LIEGEN IN DER NÄHE.

The wooden barn facing north. This will be our last renovation project.

DIE EINZIGE HÖLZERNE SCHEUNE AUF GRANBORG GAARD.

There are many tall trees on the estate.

MAN FINDET SEHR VIELE GROSSE BÄUME IM PARK.

The water on the pond is frozen - haven't tried to skate there yet...

DER TEICH IST ZUGEFROREN. DENNOCH IST KEINER SCHLITTSCHUHGELAUFEN...

View onto the lawn, facing north.

DIE GROSSE RASENANLAGE HINTER DEN BÄUMEN.

There are many bushes and trees around the pond...

VIELE BÜSCHE UMGEBEN DEN TEICH...

Another old barn, facing the fruit garden.

NOCH EINE ALTE SCHEUNE...

We're not far from the sea (Baltic, the narrow strait between Zealand and Falster)

WIR WOHNEN DICHT AN DER OSTSEE...

The fruit garden is always beautiful, no matter what season!

DER OBSTGARTEN IST ZU JEDER

Walking through a winter wonderland -

JAHRESZEIT WUNDERSCHÖN!

the sun glittering through the snow-covered branches...

DOCH DER LETZTE WINTER WAR SICHER DER SCHÖNSTE!

Wild blackberries and raspberries in hibernation...

WILDE BROMBEEREN SO WEIT DAS AUGE REICHT!

What a beautiful clear sky!

UND WEIN WUNDERVOLLER BLAUER HIMMEL!

The neighbors are close enough to care, far enough away to leave a breathing-space for everyone...

DIE NACHBAREN SIND SO NAHE, DASS MAN EINANDER HILFT, ABER SO WEIT ENTFERNT, DASS PLATZ FÜR ALLE IST!

The trees grow tall...

DASS DIE BÄUME SO GROSS SIND,

mind you this garden is more than 130 years old!

IST KEIN WUNDER,

The main house is located between front garden and the yard.

DENN DER GARTEN IST MEHR ALS 130 JAHRE ALT!

It's lovely to feel the sun on your face and your feet in the snow!

ES IST WUNDERVOLL, DIE SONNE IM GESICHT ZU VERSPÜREN

We had actually intended to go north this Christmas, Easter and in the winter holidays...

but decided then that there was no point to travel 6000 km, when you have got your own winter paradise right at home...

UND DIE FÜSSE IM SCHNEE!

the only thing we've missed out on were the northern lights.

EIGENTLICH HATTEN WIR DIESEN WINTER

It's very, very rare occasion, if they actually come down here.

GEN NORDEN FAHREN WOLLEN,

I love how all the old trees stand proud and strong.

DOCH DANN ERSCHIEN ES UNS UNSINNING.

The heart of the yard. The buildings are currently under renovation and we hope to be able to re-open our gallery in august.

WARUM 6000 KM REISEN,

Afternoon shadows in a corner of the front garden.

WENN MAN EIN WINTERPARADIS

A view from the terrace of the main house.

VOR DER TÜR HAT?!

Facing south-west.

SÜD-WEST: DER VORDERGARTEN.

The snow cover lasted from December to March.

DER SCHNEE LAG VON DEZ. BIS MÄRZ.

April came and so did higher temps.

MIT DEM APRIL KAM DER FRÜHLING.

We usually buy eggs, meet and veggies from local farmers.

WIR KAUFEN, EIER, FLEISCH UND GEMÜSE BEI BAUERN IN DER NACHBARSCHAFT.

Picking our Easter-eggs, we noticed that the Hungarian woolen pigs had little babies...

ALS WIR DIE OSTEREIER ABHOLTEN, SAHEN WIR, DASS DIE UNGARISCHEN WOLLSCHSCHWEINE SCHON JUNGEN HATTEN...

To be living in the country doesn't mean you can't have a night out out on the town as well!

WENN MAN AUF DEM LANDE WOHNT,

The other night we went to Næstved to watch a movie...

BEDEUTET DAS NICHT, DASS MAN SICH NICHT AUCH IN DER STADT AMÜSIEREN KANN!

Afterwards we strolled through the streets to enjoy the atmosphere.

I hope you've enjoyed your little walk through the Danish countryside!
Our Bed&Breakfast is open all around the year.

NEULICH WAREN WIR IN NÆASTVED IM KINO UND SCHLENDERTEN NACHHER NOCH DURCH DIE ROMANTISCHEN STRASSEN DER ALTSTADT...

ICH HOFFE, DIR HAT DIESER KLEINE SPAZIERGANG GEFALLEN.
UNSERE FERIENPENSION IST ÜBRIGENS GANZJÄHRLICH GEÖFFNET.

  4. Very beautiful country, love the farm. I grew up on one here in the southern united states, just planted my garden about 2 weeks ago. Also your art is very fascinating. I paint a little, doors, windows, trim.lol

My mother in-law is the painter. Really loved the tour, I've always wanted to visit your country, maybe one day. pollard
